I’m not sure exactly how he feels about it himself, but it is always safe to say that time certainly does fly by. Each year seems to zip by faster and faster. I look back at when I was in elementary school and every grade I went through seemed to take a lifetime. Now, I simply can’t seem to get life to slow down. I will be turning 20 next year, which in itself is hard to believe – but I hope my brother was ready for the big one three today. He recently got married and seems to be having the time of his life, so I am sure he is doing just fine. After all, age is only a number – just get out and have a little fun.

Over the years, the design and content has certainly changed. The time has come once again, and I will be honest, I have said it many times already: I am taking a fresh start with Devon Bate .com. As my first year of university in the Commerce program at Dalhousie is coming to an end, I am realizing more and more the importance of an online presence. I will be starting to write more three topics including: my personal development, thoughts and opinions; my thoughts on new business developments and anything business related; my views on various volunteer activities and experiences.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that life does not get too much in the way of keeping me from updating the new site and keeping things current. Although as with most people, some weeks are a lot more hectic than others and I am sure everything will balance out.
